On the Home Shopping Network this month, Anna released a new set of embossing folders with an asian twist. Check out some cards I made with them below:
On the card above, I added some ink to the bottom half of the embossing folder before running it through my cuttlebug so that the paper is debossed and colored. I did one paper with yellow, and one with purple, trimmed part of the design from one, and added it to the yellow-inked embossed paper with foam squares.
I used pink ink on the top half of this embossing folder. I love the asian vignette on this folder!
Here I added gold metallic ink to the folder and embossed/inked a piece of teal cardstock.
On the card above, I used the border folder on some strips of Perfect Palette cardstock, then sanded the embossed images.
For the card above I inked the bottom side of the embossing folder with teal ink, ran it through my Cuttlebug, and then carefully rubbed light green ink over the plain raised design left over.
I cut out some of the beautiful inked embossed image, and arranged them on the card above.
Take a look at how these folders add something special to the scrapbook pages below:
I subtly inked the cardstock underneath the die cut paper, and then cut apart the embossed images from several different colored pieces of embossed cardstock.
For the layout above, I lightly inked the folder before embossing the paper, and the fussy cut part of the patterned paper and added it with foam squares onto the embossed background.
I alternated embossed/inked cardstock with embossed/sanded strips made with the border folder. Love the look! Anna's embossing folders are truly second to none.
